At Akua’s Kids Foundation we fund projects and promote initiatives to serve the underprivileged children of Ghana. We aim to reach every region in Ghana and reach as many children as possible. WHO WE ARE
We are team who believe that every child deserves the right to shelter, education and food. We have set out to combat childhood poverty in Ghana and our mission is to put a smile on the faces of underprivileged kids and orphans.
Underprivileged children face a lot of hardships and prejudices in the society. They are often subjected to slavery, underpaid & overworked in employment, abused and rendered homeless. These struggles are often worse in rural areas. Our mission is to relieve these burdens by housing children in orphanage homes, encouraging good quality education and providing access to essential resources. We want to give each child an equal opportunity at life.
WHAT WE DO
PARTNERSHIP
We partner with and sponsor struggling orphanages all over Ghana, particularly those in rural areas. We've currently partnered with orphanages in the Northern Region, Ashanti Region and Accra. We welcome all appeals for sponsorship from orphanages and organisations working in line with our vision. Our vision is to reach all regions in Ghana and support as many struggling orphanages as possible.
